Salary
£36,000 – £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience + benefits

Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week
Based in Kilburn, NW6, with travel across Bromley and Walthamstow clinics

• Wednesday to Friday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Monday and Tuesday are scheduled days off
• Travel between the three clinic locations is an essential part of the role

Job Description
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will deliver specialist occupational therapy for autistic children and children with additional needs within a supportive private healthcare clinic environment. Based primarily in Kilburn, you will work across specialist clinics in Bromley and Walthamstow, managing your own paediatric caseload while remaining part of a collaborative allied health multidisciplinary team. You will complete comprehensive assessments, develop evidence-based intervention programmes and provide practical recommendations that support sensory processing, motor skills, functional development and meaningful outcomes. Working closely with families, schools, Speech and Language Therapists, Autism Specialists and fellow clinicians, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your paediatric expertise while progressing within a structured clinical development pathway.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality one-to-one occupational therapy for autistic children and children with additional needs
• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments using standardised and non-standardised assessment tools
• Develop and deliver evidence-based intervention programmes tailored to individual needs
• Carry out sensory, motor and functional assessments and recommend appropriate strategies, adaptations and equipment
• Manage an independent paediatric caseload effectively across the specialist clinic settings
• Produce detailed clinical reports, recommendations and accurate professional documentation
• Work collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists, Autism Specialists and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Build effective relationships with families, schools and other professionals involved in each child's support
• Maintain high standards of evidence-based, child-centred clinical practice
• Travel between the Kilburn, Bromley and Walthamstow clinic locations as required

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK. Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
• Minimum one year's post-qualification Occupational Therapy experience
• Experience delivering occupational therapy to autistic children and children with additional needs
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, report-writing and evidence-based intervention planning skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with children, families, schools and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Confident managing an independent paediatric caseload and able to travel between London clinic locations
