A Paediatric Occupational Therapist is required to join a specialist paediatric occupational therapy service supporting neurodiverse children and young people across Crondall, Hampshire, GU10 and surrounding areas. This flexible Associate position combines work across schools, homes, clinics and community settings with home-based administration, offering experienced clinicians structured supervision, specialist development and progression within private healthcare and private education environments.

Job Description
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will deliver specialist assessment and intervention for neurodiverse children and young people aged 2 to 25 years across educational, community, home and clinic settings in Crondall, GU10 and wider Hampshire. Working within a specialist paediatric occupational therapy and allied health service, you will manage assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, EHCP recommendations and outcome reporting for children and young people with autism, sensory processing difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, learning disabilities and associated needs. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, educators and multidisciplinary teams while developing your clinical expertise within private healthcare and private education settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments based on each child or young person's individual needs
• Develop individualised treatment plans and deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Support neurodiverse children and young people aged 2 to 25 years to improve participation, independence and functional outcomes
• Complete EHCP assessments, recommendations and associated professional reports
• Deliver therapy across school, home, clinic and community environments
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, progress records and outcome reporting
• Work collaboratively with families, educators, schools and multidisciplinary professionals
• Contribute to tribunal reports and professional recommendations where required
• Maintain HCPC standards, clinical governance and professional practice requirements
• Adapt assessment and intervention approaches to sensory processing, neurodevelopmental and learning needs

Essential Requirements

• You must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
• BSc Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 2 to 4 years' paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
• Experience supporting neurodiverse children and young people, including autism and sensory processing needs
• Ability to assess, plan and deliver effective paediatric Occupational Therapy interventions, including clear clinical documentation and reporting
• Strong communication, relationship-building and report-writing skills
• Full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and ability to travel across Crondall, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Winchester, Southampton and surrounding areas
