Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Full-time, permanent position.
Based in Sunningdale, SL5.

• Monday to Friday working pattern
• Shifts scheduled within the nursery's operating hours
• No regular weekend work required
• Breaks provided during working hours
• Consistent schedule with some flexibility depending on nursery needs

Job Description
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning and high-quality childcare within a welcoming nursery in Sunningdale. You will support children's early development in line with EYFS principles, creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn and build confidence. Working closely with colleagues and families, you will contribute to children's emotional wellbeing, development and positive learning outcomes. This nurseries & early years position offers a supportive setting for a qualified practitioner who enjoys combining creativity, care and child-focused learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the effective day-to-day running of the nursery room
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS principles
• Observe, monitor and accurately record children's development and progress
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that supports learning and wellbeing
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Support children's emotional wellbeing, confidence and individual development
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety within the nursery
• Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to provide consistent, high-quality care
• Maintain accurate documentation and records relating to children's learning and development
• Promote positive behaviour and development outcomes through responsive, child-focused practice

Essential Requirements

• You must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Level 3 qualification in Early Years, or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Previous experience working within a nursery setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years child development
• Ability to deliver high-quality childcare and engaging learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and collaborative approach
• Confidence working independently when required and collaboratively as part of the nursery team
