Recruit by Nature is seeking a caring and committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive early years team in Woodford. Working Hours & Shift Pattern
The nursery is open from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks of the year. The setting closes for one week between Christmas and New Year. Individual shift arrangements will be discussed during the recruitment process.

Job Description
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and support children’s learning and development within a safe, nurturing and stimulating EYFS environment. You will work closely with colleagues and families to help children build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy positive early learning experiences.

The Woodford setting provides enriching indoor and outdoor spaces, a home-from-home atmosphere and a strong focus on child-centred learning. You will support children through play, exploration, creative activities, outdoor learning and everyday routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive and attentive care for children
• Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and deliver purposeful play and learning activities
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress accurately
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Support children’s communication, language and physical development
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive social development
• Contribute to daily extracurricular activities and outdoor learning
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery procedures

Essential Requirements

• You must already have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
• You hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised subject.
• You have relevant experience working in a nursery, childcare or early years setting.
• You have experience supporting children’s care, learning and development.
• You can contribute to EYFS practice through purposeful play, observation and daily routines.
• You are caring, reliable and able to communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues.
• You can work independently, use initiative and follow safeguarding and nursery procedures.
• Also suitable for: Level 3 Nursery Nurses, Early Years Practitioners, Early Years Educators and experienced Childcare Practitioners.
