Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Full-time, permanent position
- 42.5 hours per week
- Standard pattern of 5 days from 7, including weekends
- Usual daily hours: 8:45am – 6:10pm
- 55-minute unpaid lunch break
- Some variation may occur in line with business needs
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join a luxury island resort in one of Scotland’s most picturesque locations. Working in a high-end spa environment, you will deliver exceptional treatments, provide warm and memorable guest experiences, and become part of a supportive team that values wellbeing and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of high-quality spa treatments following set protocols
- Create outstanding guest experiences from arrival through to departure
- Maintain strong product knowledge, particularly relating to ishga treatments
- Promote and upsell treatments and retail products when appropriate
- Ensure treatment rooms and spa areas remain clean, tidy and welcoming
- Support the Senior Therapist and Spa Manager with daily operations
- Manage treatment schedules efficiently to maximise guest satisfaction
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and records
Requirements
- HND, NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy, or equivalent qualification
- Confident in massages, facials, waxing and nail treatments
- Competent in either gel nails or intimate waxing (both desirable)
- Experience in a spa environment, ideally luxury or high-end
- Familiarity with ishga products is beneficial (training provided)
- Friendly, professional and guest-focused with excellent communication skills
- Keen to continue learning and developing professionally
- Flexible to work weekends and varying shift patterns
- Reliable, proactive and a strong team player
