Introduction:
We are recruiting an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a well-established care home in Leyland, Lancashire. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for the operational, clinical, and commercial performance of the service. Nurse-qualified and non-nurse candidates will both be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary care team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, legislation, and best practice at all times
  • Maintain strong clinical governance, quality assurance, and safeguarding processes
  • Oversee staffing, budgets, occupancy, and day-to-day operational performance
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager or Deputy Manager within a care home setting
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Nurse qualification (RGN / RMN / RNLD) desirable but not essential
  • Ability to manage and inspire teams while driving quality and compliance

Pay & Benefits:

  • Salary of £50,000 – £58,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week
