An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Service Manager / Care Home Manager to lead a well-established nursing home providing specialist care services within a modern, well-equipped environment.

The role involves overseeing a 36-bed nursing home alongside a specialist 10-bed Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) unit, both supported by experienced Clinical Deputy Managers. The service delivers high-quality nursing and specialist care, with a strong focus on dignity, independence and person-centred care.

This position would suit an experienced Registered Manager, Care Home Manager or Clinical Service Manager looking to lead a well-supported service with strong clinical governance and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

As Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating the care and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of care
• Acting as the Registered Manager with overall responsibility for the service
• Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance standards
• Managing service performance, quality of care and occupancy levels
• Developing strong relationships with local GP practices, healthcare professionals and community services
• Promoting a culture of clinical excellence, dignity and person-centred care
• Managing recruitment, staffing and workforce development
• Overseeing budgets and ensuring effective use of resources
• Driving service improvement through quality assurance and clinical governance frameworks

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC PIN
• Experience as a Care Home Manager, Registered Manager or Clinical Service Manager
• Experience managing nursing or specialist care services
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and care home compliance
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
