An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Home Manager to lead a well-established Nursing & Residential Care Home in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be joining a respected family-run care provider operating over 40 care homes across England and Wales, recognised for delivering high standards of care and creating warm, homely environments for residents.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated clinical and care team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure residents receive the highest level of person-centred care in a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
As the Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and regulatory compliance of the home.
You will use your clinical and operational expertise to ensure the home delivers exceptional care standards while creating a positive culture for both residents and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing strong leadership and management to the care and clinical teams
Ensuring the home operates in full compliance with CQC regulations
Delivering and maintaining high-quality person-centred care
Managing staffing, performance, and professional development
Building strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Leading continuous improvements to care standards and operational performance
Supporting the development and growth of the home and wider team
About You
We are seeking a Registered Care Home Manager with a strong clinical and operational background who is passionate about delivering outstanding care.
The ideal candidate will have:
Valid NMC Pin
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Experience managing a 40+ bedded nursing home
Strong experience in Dementia and General Nursing care environments
Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary care teams
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
Experience commissioning or opening a new care home (desirable)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine passion for delivering first-class care for older people
You will be a confident, positive leader who motivates teams and promotes a culture of dignity, compassion, and respect.
