Pelvic Health Physiotherapist / Women’s Health Physiotherapist – York, North Yorkshire (YO10)
A unique part time opportunity to deliver truly patient-centred pelvic health physiotherapy within a calm, purpose-built clinical space designed to support both clinician wellbeing and exceptional care, with flexibility to work in either an employed or associate capacity.

Permanent, Part-Time Employed or Self-Employed Associate (up to 15 hours per week initially, with clear scope to increase)

Salary
£35,000 – £45,000 FTE (pro rata), dependent on experience or associate model available with competitive split

Job Description
As a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist (Women’s Health Focus), you will be working within a calm, supportive clinical setting in York, North Yorkshire (YO10), delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to women across a wide range of life stages. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality pelvic health physiotherapy assessments and treatments for women
  • Manage a varied caseload with sufficient time for thorough assessment, treatment, and education
  • Support patients with postnatal recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, and related MSK conditions
  • Develop personalised rehabilitation plans incorporating movement and exercise
  • Integrate Pilates-based approaches into treatment where appropriate or develop into this area
  • Educate and empower patients to improve long-term health outcomes
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative clinical and fitness environment
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of Women’s Health services
  • Deliver care in a calm, supportive setting that prioritises patient and clinician wellbeing

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship is available
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist
  • Typically 2+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong MSK background with either pelvic health experience or a clear special interest supported by post graduate training
  • Confident working independently and managing your own caseload
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach
  • Pilates experience or interest is highly desirable
  • Holistic, values-led approach to patient care
  • Full UK driving licence preferred due to location and accessibility
  • Also suitable for: Women’s Health Physiotherapist, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, MSK Physiotherapist with Women’s Health interest, Specialist Physiotherapist.
