Working Hours & Shift Pattern
Permanent position with flexible full-time or part-time working.
Based across Crondall, Hampshire (GU10), with clinics, schools, homes and community settings.

  • Minimum commitment of 22.5 hours (3 days) per week.

Job Description
As a Newly Qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will become part of a specialist allied health team delivering high-quality occupational therapy across private healthcare services. Working with children and young people aged 2–25, you will provide assessment and intervention within clinics, schools, homes and community environments across Crondall, Hampshire (GU10) and the surrounding area. You will be supported through a structured induction programme with regular supervision, allowing you to develop confidence whilst working alongside experienced clinicians. The service follows a child-centred, neuro-affirming approach and provides bespoke, creative and flexible interventions for children with autism, sensory processing differences, developmental conditions, learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver paediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
  • Support children with autism, sensory processing differences and developmental needs.
  • Contribute towards Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments and reports.
  • Work across clinic, school, home and community environments.
  • Develop meaningful, family-centred therapy programmes within children's occupational therapy 
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
  • Participate in regular supervision, CPD and professional development.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and excellent clinical standards.
  • Deliver compassionate, child-focused care that supports positive long-term outcomes.

Requirements

  • You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
  • HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Newly qualified Occupational Therapist with paediatric placements completed during training.
  • Interest in paediatric occupational therapy, autism and sensory processing.
  • Able to assess, plan and deliver therapy with appropriate clinical support.
  • Excellent communication skills with children, families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Also suitable for: Graduate Occupational Therapist, Newly Qualified Occupational Therapist, Junior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Band 5 Occupational Therapist, Paediatric OT.
