£26,625 – £28,000 per year (dependent on experience) + benefits

Working Hours & Shift Pattern

  • Full-time position – 40 hours per week
  • Shifts between 7:30am and 6:30pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotational shift pattern within operating hours
  • Daily breaks included within shift structure
  • Flexibility required to support nursery operational needs

Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, nurturing early years, Montessori nursery setting in Wembley (HA9). The nursery provides a child-centred environment inspired by Montessori principles, supporting independence, curiosity, and confidence in every child. The nursery offers bright, thoughtfully prepared learning spaces and a strong focus on holistic development. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities tailored to individual development
  • Complete detailed observations and maintain accurate learning records
  • Promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Support children’s emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency of care
  • Build strong, professional partnerships with parents and carers
  • Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the nursery
  • Support daily routines including meal times and outdoor play

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Right to work within the UK (no sponsorship required) 
  • Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or Childcare Practitioner
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards, inspection requirements
  • An enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be required prior to employment in line with safeguarding and Ofsted regulations.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children and families
