Emergency Medicine Registrar (ED / A&E) | Emergency Department Doctor – Australia Relocation Opportunity
Permanent Role | A$1,700 (approx. £900) per shift | Only 10 shifts per month | Full Relocation Support Provided.
Emergency Medicine Registrars, ED Registrars and A&E Doctors from the UK are increasingly relocating to Australia for improved work life balance, higher earnings, the opportunity to practise in a modern, well-supported emergency departments whilst having the time to enjoy and explore the best Australia has to offer.
Earnings:
• A$1,700 (approx. £900) per shift
• A$17,000 (approx. £9,000) per month
• Typical annual earnings around A$204,000 (approx. £100k+)
• A$1,250 (approx. £660) sign-on bonus
Shift Pattern:
• 10 night shifts per month
• Approximately 20 days off per month
• Additional daytime shifts (10am–5pm) available for extra income.
The reduced shift pattern allows significant time to travel, explore Australia, and enjoy a more balanced lifestyle.
Clinical Environment:
As the Emergency Medicine Registrar, you will work within well equipped private emergency departments designed to provide efficient, high quality patient care.

Doctors can choose from 4 highly desirable locations across Australia, including:

• Adelaide, South Australia – a vibrant city surrounded by beaches and vineyards.
• Hobart, Tasmania – Australia’s southern gem with heritage charm and outdoor adventure.

Requirements:
• Hold GMC registration with a full licence to practise
• Substantial experience working in Emergency Medicine / A&E / ED
• Currently working at F4+ level or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years postgraduate clinical experience
• If you graduated from a non-UK medical school, you must have completed PLAB and worked in the UK for at least 12 months
• Also suitable for: ED Registrar, A&E Registrar, Emergency Department Doctor
