An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Clinical Manager to join a specialist ABI and Mental Health service supporting residents with complex care needs within a small, well-supported clinical environment.
This leadership role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RMN, RGN or RNLD) who is passionate about delivering person-centred care while supporting the clinical and operational leadership of a specialist care service.
The service provides high-quality nursing care for residents with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and mental health needs, working closely with healthcare professionals, families and the wider community to promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
The Role
As Deputy Clinical Manager, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day leadership and clinical oversight of the service while helping to maintain outstanding standards of care and regulatory compliance.
You will play a key role in supporting staff development, ensuring safe clinical practice, and maintaining a positive culture focused on delivering high-quality care.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the management and daily operations of the ABI and Mental Health service
• Leading and mentoring clinical and care teams to deliver exceptional care
• Promoting person-centred care and positive outcomes for residents
• Supporting regulatory compliance including CQC standards and clinical governance
• Assisting with staff supervision, recruitment and professional development
• Maintaining strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals and the local community
• Supporting quality improvement initiatives and service development
About You
The successful candidate will be a compassionate and confident clinical leader who is committed to maintaining high standards of care.
Essential requirements:
• Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN (RMN, RGN or RNLD)
• Experience working in ABI, mental health or complex care services
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance frameworks
• A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
