Introduction:
Recruit by Nature are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join a well-established, purpose-built nursing service supporting adults with physical disabilities and complex healthcare needs. This is a senior clinical leadership role, working closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in a safe, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day clinical coordination and leadership of the service.
- Lead, supervise, and support nursing and care teams to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and clinical governance requirements.
- Provide strong clinical leadership, supervision, and mentorship across the nursing team.
- Oversee infection prevention and control processes, including audits and implementation.
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals, including GPs and community services.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and appraisal of staff.
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture focused on dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager when required, escalating concerns appropriately.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse.
- Experience supporting adults with physical disabilities and complex care needs.
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and clinical best practice.
- Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire, support, and develop multidisciplinary teams.
Pay & Benefits:
- Salary of £41,190 per annum.
- 35 hours per week (including a clinical nursing presence on the floor).
