Introduction

We are recruiting for a compassionate and clinically confident Registered Nurse to join a well-established nursing home in Carlisle, Cumbria. This is a full-time, permanent day shift role, ideal for a Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive and stable care environment.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents with a range of physical health needs, dementia, and age-related conditions. You will play a key role in clinical decision-making, care planning, medication management, and supporting care teams to maintain excellent standards of care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in line with NMC standards and best practice
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Complete nursing assessments, care plans, and risk assessments
• Monitor residents’ physical and mental health, responding promptly to changes
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to care staff on shift
• Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and procedures
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, GPs, and external healthcare professionals

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) with an active NMC PIN
• Experience within a nursing home, residential care, or similar clinical setting
• Strong clinical judgement and confident decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A caring, professional, and person-centred approach to nursing
• Ability to work full-time day shifts

Pay & Benefits:

Working Hours:
