Working Hours & Shift Pattern

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, all year round 
  • Daytime shifts between core nursery operating hours
  • Monday to Friday on a rota basis 
  • Occasional flexibility required to support operational needs

Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, child-centred nursery in West Drayton. As a Nursery Practitioner you will play a key role in creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting children’s development, and contributing to a nurturing, inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will be caring, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality early years practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Support children’s learning, wellbeing, and emotional development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate observations, records, and key person responsibilities
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
  • Create a stimulating, tidy, safe, and welcoming learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with the team to plan and evaluate activities
  • Support children with routines including meals, hygiene, and transitions
  • Contribute positively to team meetings, training, and quality improvement
  • Promote inclusive practice and ensure all children feel valued and supported

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience working in an early years or nursery environment
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
  • Warm, patient, and confident with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
  • Reliable, organised, and committed to high-quality childcare
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Also suitable for Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Childcare Practitioner, EYFS Educator
