Working Hours & Shift Pattern
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, all year round
- Daytime shifts between core nursery operating hours
- Monday to Friday on a rota basis
- Occasional flexibility required to support operational needs
Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, child-centred nursery in West Drayton. As a Nursery Practitioner you will play a key role in creating meaningful learning experiences, supporting children’s development, and contributing to a nurturing, inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will be caring, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality early years practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
- Support children’s learning, wellbeing, and emotional development
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain accurate observations, records, and key person responsibilities
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Create a stimulating, tidy, safe, and welcoming learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to plan and evaluate activities
- Support children with routines including meals, hygiene, and transitions
- Contribute positively to team meetings, training, and quality improvement
- Promote inclusive practice and ensure all children feel valued and supported
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent (essential)
- Experience working in an early years or nursery environment
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities
- Warm, patient, and confident with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Reliable, organised, and committed to high-quality childcare
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
