Registered Care Home Manager – Nurse

We are recruiting an experienced and clinically strong Registered Care Home Manager (Nurse Qualified) to lead a well-established nursing and residential care home providing high-quality care for residents with dementia and general nursing needs.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred care while driving clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop multidisciplinary care and nursing teams.
  • Ensure the highest standards of clinical care, safeguarding, and resident wellbeing.
  • Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, audits, and governance frameworks.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals.
  • Drive positive CQC outcomes, operational performance, and staff retention.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Care Home Manager within a nursing home environment.
  • Experience managing a medium to large service (60+ beds preferred).
  • Strong operational background with demonstrable CQC compliance.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or equivalent).
  • Confident, visible leader with excellent people management and communication skills.
