The Role:
This is a day shift position working 33 hours per week, offering a rewarding opportunity to be part of a compassionate and professional nursing and care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care needs, providing hands-on nursing care when required.
- Complete and maintain person-centred care plans in collaboration with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
- Administer medication safely and accurately in line with NMC guidelines and internal policies.
- Carry out ongoing assessments and reviews of residents’ physical, emotional, and social care needs.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior and new staff members.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Attend mandatory training and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration (RGN).
- Experience within a care home or elderly care setting is desirable.
- Strong clinical knowledge with a compassionate, resident-first approach.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship.
