We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new children’s residential home. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a nurturing, stable and inspiring environment from day one.
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the full setup of the home, guide the Ofsted registration process, and establish a culture built on safety, compassion and growth. Your leadership will help create a space where young people feel valued, supported and able to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the setup and development of a new children’s home
• Manage the Ofsted registration process and ensure full regulatory compliance
• Create a safe, structured and supportive environment for young people
• Provide strong, values-driven leadership to a developing staff team
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
• Build a positive culture that promotes emotional wellbeing and personal growth
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
• At least 1 year of children’s home management experience
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
• Compassionate, resilient leadership style with a child-centred approach
• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
