About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Ofsted Registered Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new children’s residential home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a unique opportunity to shape a nurturing, stable, and inspiring environment from day one.

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the full setup of the home, guide the Ofsted registration process, and establish a culture of safety, compassion, and growth. Your leadership will help create a space where children feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and development of a new EBD children’s home
  • Manage the Ofsted registration process and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for young people
  • Provide strong, values-driven leadership to a developing staff team
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
  • Build a positive culture that promotes emotional wellbeing and personal growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential childcare
  • At least 1 year of children’s home management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Compassionate, resilient leadership style with a child-centred approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence (required)
